My Birthday Party Donation

September 18, 2015 By Bonnie Stewart 1 Comment

I just turned seven. I wanted to invite a lot of friends to my party but I didn’t think I needed a lot of toys or gifts. So I invited people to give donations or spare change to Big Brothers Big Sisters, in PEI where I live. I had to choose a good cause and I picked Big Brothers Big Sisters because I volunteer with them every year for Bowl for Kids’ Sake, with my mom and my brother. I pour pop for people bowling. Big Brothers Big Sisters help kids.

So today I dropped off all the money from my party. There was $225. I was on the Big Brothers Big Sisters sign because I collected donations from my party and I gave them to Big Brothers Big Sisters. I was so so happy. I was happy about being on the sign. I felt like it was a dream.

I hope the money will really help people.

The End.

    Dear Josephine,

Your are pretty amazing to be volunteering and donating at your age. The money you donated will definitely help us match a child with a mentor of his or her very own! Thanks so much for your donation! We look forward to seeing you at Bowl for Kids Sake!!

    Sincerely
    Heather Doran
